San Mai Fighter
In Collaboration with Forged in Fire Champion

This little fighter is a collaboration between myself and Jon Nagel of Nagelhausforge. He made and sent over the san mai steel and I forged it out into a blade and finished it up. A one of a kind collaboration piece from two Forged in Fire Champions.

San Mai Damascus Kukri



This Kukri Knife was forged with an 80CRV2 core steel and a 160 layer damascus jacket (321 layers total) of 1095 and 15N20.

Handle - Full tang with stabilized Arizona ironwood burl scales and mosiac pins.

640 Layer Damascus Katana (Forged in Firstbuild)

This Katana was forged from 640 layers of damascus steel. The piece embodies some traditional elements while trying to remain creatively fresh. Every piece of metal on the handle is made from damascus steel between 90-160 layers and etched in a copper rich acid solution leaving stains of copper throughout. The 2 menuki ornaments are Hippos of my namesake.

Handle - Red oak wood, burned and dyed red then sealed with polyurethane. Bamboo mekugi pin. Wrapped with polyester blend.

This Bowie Knife was forged with an 80CRV2 core steel and a 160 layer damascus jacket. The guard is also 160 layers of steel.
